CFP summary
HotStorage 2026 is the 17th USENIX Workshop on Hot Topics in Storage and File Systems. The workshop is designed for forward-looking work on storage and file systems, especially ideas that are timely, unconventional, or likely to shape the next generation of storage research and practice. Its scope spans both core storage mechanisms and broader system trends affecting persistence, data movement, efficiency, reliability, and emerging storage-intensive workloads.
Topics
Storage systems and file systems; persistent memory and new storage media; distributed storage and data services; data durability, reliability and recovery; storage for AI/ML and data-intensive computing; performance and scalability in storage stacks; security and privacy for storage systems; novel architectures, prototypes and position papers on future storage directions.
